Job summary

Journey Beyond seeks a payroll expert to own end-to-end payroll across our K’gari operations, including Kingfisher Bay Resort, K’gari Beach Resort, and the tours and marine activities.

You will partner with People & Culture and operational leaders to interpret awards and ensure compliance with Australian legislation, while optimising Dayforce workflows.

This role blends payroll accuracy with systems improvement, risk management, and trusted advisory across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing end-to-end payroll, with Australian experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Fair Work requirements.
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards.
• Advanced Dayforce payroll experience.
• Strong payroll auditing, compliance and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll across multiple sites.
• Provide advice on Awards, Agreements and employee entitlements.
• Manage Dayforce payroll, time and attendance processes.
• Review payroll data and identify compliance risks.
• Improve payroll systems, controls and reporting processes.
