Job summary

TwoScots Recruitment is partnering with a not-for-profit organisation to recruit a temporary Payroll Officer based in Melbourne's CBD. This role offers a supportive team environment and hybrid working, with three days from home and a convenient CBD location close to public transport.

You will perform end-to-end payroll processing using Chris21, maintain employee records, handle leave and back payments, and respond to payroll queries clearly and professionally, while working with the team to meet

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll officer experience is required.
• Hands-on experience using Chris21 payroll system.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll processes and legislation.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting accurate and timely end to end payroll processing using Chris21.
• Maintaining employee records, including new starters, terminations and payroll changes.
• Processing leave, adjustments and back payments.
• Responding to employee payroll queries clearly and professionally.
• Working closely with the team to meet payroll deadlines and improve processes.
