Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Payroll & HR Services professional for a temporary opportunity (up to 12 months) based in Grafton, NSW. You will join a high-performing team delivering payroll processing and HR services across the organisation.

You'll ensure accurate and timely payroll transactions, manage onboarding and movements, and use multiple systems to maintain data integrity. This role offers a fixed-term contract with expected 50% on-site attendance at the Grafton office.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and HR services is essential.
• Customer-centric with ability to meet needs in a busy environment.
• Proven ability to navigate multiple computer-based systems and learn new ones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate payroll processing and HR & Employment services as part of a high-performing team.
• Ensure timely payroll and HR transactions, including establishment, onboarding, movements and end-to-end payroll per laws and policies.
• Navigate various systems to locate, maintain and investigate data with accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement via knowledge sharing, UAT and reference materials.
• Temporary Fixed Term positions (6–12 months) based from Burwood, Newcastle, Grafton or Glen Innes with 50% on-site attendance.
