Job summary

Transport For NSW is seeking a Payroll/HR Services professional in Grafton, NSW. The role covers accurate payroll processing, onboarding, movements and end-to-end payroll tasks within a fixed-term full-time arrangement. Flexible base locations include Burwood, Newcastle, Grafton or Glen Innes with 50% workplace attendance required.

You will contribute to a high-performing payroll team, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies while supporting HR service delivery across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-centric service organisation and excels at building rapport to understand and meet customer needs.
• Process-driven with experience in a busy payroll environment and/or HR services for a large organisation.
• Adept at using multiple computer-based systems and can quickly learn new ones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate payroll processing and HR & Employment services as part of a high-performing team.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR transactions in line with legislation, awards, policies and procedures.
• Navigate multiple systems to locate, maintain and verify data for consistency and accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, user acceptance testing and developing reference materials.
