MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturing business to recruit a Payroll & HR Administrator based in Somersby, NSW. This onsite role offers Full-Time or 4 Days per Week with a salary of $75,000 - $80,000 + Super and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years payroll experience, ideally multi-site or blue-collar environment.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Employment Hero is highly desirable.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly end-to-end payroll across multiple entities.
• Manage new starters, terminations, leave, superannuation and payroll adjustments.
• Follow up timesheet approvals, leave documentation and payroll queries.
• Maintain employee records within Employment Hero.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and compliance reporting.
• Ensure payroll obligations are processed accurately and on time.
• Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and system set-up.
• Conduct reference checks and work rights verification.
• Advertise vacancies and support recruitment activity.
• Maintain HR records and HR documentation.
• Support training, compliance and employee engagement initiatives.
• Provide general HR administration support across the business.

MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturing business to recruit a Payroll & HR Administrator based in Somersby.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional looking to broaden their HR experience within a supportive and flexible environment. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you'll receive ongoing training, mentorship and exposure across the full employee lifecycle while managing payroll across multiple entities.

The Role

This is a varied position where payroll will make up approximately one day per week, with the remainder focused on HR administration and employee support.

Payroll Responsibilities

• Process weekly end-to-end payroll across multiple entities
• Manage new starters, terminations, leave, superannuation and payroll adjustments
• Follow up timesheet approvals, leave documentation and payroll queries
• Maintain employee records within Employment Hero
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and compliance reporting
• Ensure payroll obligations are processed accurately and on time

HR Administration Responsibilities

• Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation

You Will Bring

• 2+ years' payroll experience , ideally within a multi-site or blue-collar environment
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Confidence communicating with employees, managers and managers
• Experience working within Employment Hero (highly desirable)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
