Job summary

Bayside Health in Melbourne is seeking a Payroll Business Analyst to support a SAP ECP/SuccessFactors rollout for a large public health workforce across The Alfred and Moorabbin sites. You will translate payroll requirements into system design, contribute to testing, training, and go-live support, and work with a dedicated project team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with payroll leadership, stakeholders, and implementation partners, ensuring accurate configuration and end-to-end payroll

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in health sector preferred.
• Involvement with SAP ECP or SuccessFactors implementations.
• Experience in SIT/UAT testing with script development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Payroll Lead and project team to deliver SAP ECP SuccessFactors.
• Translate payroll requirements into system design and configuration.
• Maintain configuration workbook and ensure full integration.
• Develop and execute SIT and UAT test scripts.
• Participate in testing cycles to validate performance and requirements.
• Assist in training materials and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Support go-live and post-implementation activities.
• Raise issues and coordinate with stakeholders as needed.

We are currently seeking aPayroll Business Analystto play a key role in supporting the implementation of a newSAP ECP SuccessFactors solution.

About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Lead and working as part of a dedicated project team, the Payroll Business Analyst will provide critical expertise in payroll processes and ensure these are effectively translated into system design and delivery.

This is a hands-on role that will contribute across multiple project phases, including configuration, testing, training and go‑live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Payroll Lead, project team and implementation partner to support the delivery of SAP ECP SuccessFactors
• Provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes and ensure requirements are clearly defined and communicated
• Maintain and monitor the configuration workbook to ensure all system elements are accurate and fully integrated
• Develop and execute testing scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT)andUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Actively participate in testing cycles to validate system performance and business requirements
• Assist in the development of training materials and support train-the-trainer sessions
• Provide support during critical project phases, including go‑live and post‑implementation
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify issues and raise support tickets where required

About You

• Strong experience in payroll operations and processes within Health
• Previous involvement in HRIS implementations, ideally SAP ECP or SuccessFactors
• Experience in SIT and UAT testing, including script development and execution
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data and configurations
• Proactive, collaborative and solution‑focused approach
