Job summary

GR Production Services is seeking a part-time Payroll Assistant to join our Perth based finance team and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. You will manage fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles, maintain payroll systems, and assist with employee payroll queries and internal controls.

You will process accurate payroll, maintain systems such as Employee Self Service and eTimesheets, and ensure compliance with tax, superannuation, WorkCover and other statutory

• At least 1 year of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with fortnightly and monthly payroll.
• Experience with electronic timesheet systems.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

You will be responsible for managing fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles, maintaining payroll systems, supporting employees with payroll queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely fortnightly and monthly payroll.
• Maintain payroll systems, Employee Self Service and eTimesheets.
• Ensure compliance with tax, superannuation, WorkCover and other statutory requirements.
• Provide responsive payroll support to employees and HR.
• Maintain accurate employee records and payroll documentation.
• Support payroll system improvements, testing and system updates.
• Assist with General Ledger reconciliations and payroll-related accounting.

About You

• Minimum 1 years' payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing both fortnightly and monthly payroll.
• Experience with electronic timesheet systems.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Greentree or similar payroll/finance systems will be highly regarded.
