Job summary

Curo Resourcing Ltd. is seeking a Payroll Advisor to join a busy Payroll Shared Services team. The role covers end-to-end payroll processing across regions, with exposure to in-house and outsourced operations.

You will ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery and excellent service to employees. The position is permanent, based in Newcastle with 3 days onsite and two remote. Start date in September; salary is £30,000 plus bonus and benefits, with a supportive team environment and opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong payroll processing experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll legislation and procedures.
• Experience delivering high accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Awareness of Shared Service Centre environments.
• Ability to create, maintain and review payroll procedures.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Strong payroll reconciliation and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll activities for starters and leavers.
• Administer one-off payments, season ticket loans and bicycle loans.
• Check and validate payroll changes, including flexible benefits.
• Upload and process tax-related payroll information.
• Manage sickness absence and statutory absence processes.
• Support maternity, paternity and shared parental leave administration.
• Assist with payroll processing activities and payroll checks.
• Process payroll journals and related financial transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and payroll auditing activities.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal procedures.
• Undertake data cleansing and data quality activities.
• Manage third-party payments and payroll queries.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to employees and stakeholders.
