Job summary

Ulton is seeking a full-time Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our Finance team in Bundaberg. This role covers payroll processing, bank reconciliations, BAS/IAS, and end-to-end bookkeeping to trial balance.

You will collaborate closely with clients and internal staff to ensure accurate financial records. Desirable candidates have a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting and experience with MYOB AccountRight, Deputy Payroll, or Xero.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or similar) is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with payroll software and payroll processing.
• Ability to work in a team environment and share tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and superannuation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and complete bookkeeping to trial balance.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable and liaise with clients and internal staff.
• Prepare BAS and IAS and assist with monthly management reports.
• Support transitions within the bookkeeping team after 12–24 months.
