Job summary

Affinity Group in Melbourne is seeking a Project Manager with experience leading technology and business initiatives in payment processing and financial systems. The role requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership to manage complex, regulated, transaction-driven projects.

You will drive project kickoff, governance structures, detailed plans, risk registers, and cross-functional coordination with business, technical, vendor, and partner groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience within the last 7 years.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; professional designations may be considered equivalent.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance structures, resources, and stakeholder engagement models.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and schedules.
• Create and execute stakeholder communication plans across business, technical, vendor, and partner groups.
• Coordinate implementation activities across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, mitigate, and manage project risks through ongoing risk management processes.
• Deliver governance frameworks, communication plans, stakeholder management plans, and risk registers.
