Job summary

Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Sydney to lead complex technology contracts, negotiate strategic terms, and coordinate renewals. You will work across Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, and Finance, shaping negotiations and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, executive stakeholder management, and proven experience delivering high‑value projects in a regulated payments environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex, high‑value technology contract negotiations and renewals.
• Strong understanding of technology contracts: resilience, cybersecurity, cloud, data protection.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional negotiations across Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, Finance and executives.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate complexity into practical recommendations.
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and decision facilitation.
• 5+ years of Senior Project Manager experience in a related field.
• Experience in payments/financial services or regulated environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading technology contract negotiations and renewals from strategy to execution.
• Developing clear negotiation strategies and commercial positions with stakeholders.
• Coordinating cross‑functional negotiations across Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, Finance and senior executives.
