Job summary

nbn is seeking a Payments Lead to drive the payables function, oversee supplier payments, and optimise payment operations across the business. You will partner with Finance and P2P teams to deliver reliable, compliant processes, supported by data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead reporting on key metrics, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure efficient and accurate payment services that support business performance across nbn.

Qualifications

• Experience in procure-to-pay, accounts payable or payments management within a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of supplier management and master data governance.
• Ability to balance operational delivery with continuous improvement and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier payments and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Support outsourced service delivery partners and travel/expense processes.
• Develop reporting and analytics to monitor payment performance and cashflow.
