Job summary

The Mater hospital in North Sydney is seeking a part-time Call Centre Assistant to support food services for patients and guests. You will engage with callers, help with meal selections and enter orders into CBORD while ensuring diet requirements are met.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, clear communication and a keen eye for detail, with familiarity of telephony and computer systems. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service excellence in a call centre or frontline setting.
• Ability to assist patients and guests with accuracy and empathy.
• Familiar with menu selection processes and diet restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and guests with meal selections via electronic system, phone or in person.
• Enter meal orders into CBORD and support diet-compliant choices.
• Answer patient calls and provide courteous, accurate information.
