Job summary

Healius, operating Laverty Pathology, is seeking pathology collectors to service Tea Gardens, Karuah, Raymond Terrace and Medowie areas. This casual role includes blood and sample collection with a focus on patient comfort and accurate handling.

You will join a supportive team, with training and a commitment to high-quality care, enabling strong patient experiences in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Background in healthcare (e.g. aged care, disability, nursing) or strong customer-facing experience is valuable.
• WWCC and immunisation evidence required or willingness to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care and accuracy.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
