Job summary

Healius is seeking Pathology Collectors to join our team serving areas around Tea Gardens, Karuah, Raymond Terrace and Medowie. This casual role involves collecting blood and other samples, delivering a calm, caring patient experience and ensuring accurate sample handling.

Training includes a 6-week paid program with full-time hours initially, then a minimum of 25 hours per week. WWCC is required and Hepatitis B immunisation evidence may be requested.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• A background in healthcare (e.g. aged care, disability, nursing) or strong customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
