Tasmania Government in Launceston is seeking a Patient Flow Assistant to support the LGH Transit Lounge with hospital aide services and housekeeping. You will assist in transfers and help ensure timely patient flow across the LGH campus.

The role requires infection control knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Permanent part-time, day shift, up to 76 hours per fortnight.

• Demonstrated knowledge of infection control practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Understanding of improving patient flow and bed access across services.

Responsabilités

• Provide hospital aide services and general housekeeping to LGH Transit Lounge.
• Support Clinical Coordinator and Nurse Manager to facilitate patient care delivery.
• Assist in transferring patients across campus to expedite bed access and improve patient flow.
