Job summary

Lumus Imaging is opening a new Cannon Hill clinic and is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Medical Receptionist. The role involves welcoming patients, managing bookings and inquiries, data entry, and assisting with Medicare and billing tasks.

Training and support will be provided, and the schedule is Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for part-time applicants. This position is ideal for applicants with customer service experience who enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare reception or admin is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with computer systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide a professional, compassionate first impression.
• Manage bookings, referrals and enquiries in person and over the phone.
• Enter data accurately and maintain patient records.
• Process Medicare, billing and payment transactions.
• Support smooth day-to-day clinic operations.
