Job summary

Department of Education, Western Australia’s Shenton College is seeking a Program Coordinator – Pathways to lead and develop senior secondary pathway programs, with a strong focus on VET and Workplace Learning.

The role collaborates with the Pathways team, the Associate Principal – Pathways and teaching staff to create flexible, student-centred options and ensure smooth transitions to further education and employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and review of pathway programs with the Pathways team and Associate Principal – Pathways
• Coordinate and support VET, Workplace Learning and other senior secondary pathway programs
• Develop innovative, flexible and student-centred pathway options for transitions to further education, training and employment
• Assist students and families with subject selection, career education and pathway planning
• Oversee quality, compliance and delivery of on-site and external VET programs
• Identify new opportunities in response to student needs and emerging pathways
• Support staff involved in VET, career development and Workplace Learning
• Foster relationships with training providers and external organisations
• Use student outcome data and feedback to inform future planning and drive improvements
