Job summary

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP) in Australia is seeking Pathology Specimen Collectors to join the Grafton area. You will collect biological specimens in a safe, professional manner, provide outstanding patient care, and work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service.

Successful candidates will have healthcare or customer service experience, a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded, and you may complete a training program to earn SNP certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service.
• A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.
• Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns
• Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a safe, professional manner
• Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised collection environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service
