Job summary

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP) is seeking reliable Pathology Specimen Collectors to join the Rockhampton team with travel to Biloela, Emerald, Gladstone, Yeppoon, and Emu Park areas.

Shifts run from 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a rotating weekend roster. Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive paid training program and earn an SNP training certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service. A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.
• Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and enjoy variety in your day
• A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before end of Probation period)

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns
• Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a safe, professional manner
• Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised collection environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service

We are seeking reliable Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our Rockhampton Team with travel to Biloela/Emerald/Gladstone/Yeppoon/Emu Park Areas required. This role offers a variety of shifts between 6:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The position also includes participation in a rotating weekend roster.

Key Responsibilities
