Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP) invites applications for Pathology Specimen Collectors on the Sunshine Coast. Work across Monday to Friday with varying shifts from early to late, and participate in weekends and public holidays as rostered.

You will collect specimens, label and handle samples, and support a high standard of patient care in a team environment. Successful candidates will have healthcare or customer service experience, a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly

• A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.
• Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to varying day-to-day tasks.
• First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain before end of Probation period.

We are looking for the right people to work as Pathology Specimen Collectors within the Sunshine Coast area, between the hours Monday-Friday varying shifts from 6.00am - 9pm with participation in weekend and public holiday rosters

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns
• Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a safe, professional manner
• Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised collection environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service. A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.
• Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and enjoy variety in your day
• A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before end of Probation period)
• Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive paid training program and receive an SNP training certificate on completion.
