Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network in Adelaide SA is seeking a Pre-Analytical Assistant Operational Services Officer to support high-quality pathology services. You will join a dedicated Pre-Analytical Specimen Reception team, handling samples, data entry, and customer service with precision.

Qualifications

• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.
• Proven ability to prioritise, stay organised and perform effectively in busy clinical settings.
• Experience in pathology laboratory environments, with sound computer and LIS skills.
• Confidentiality, infection control, WHS principles and NATA requirements understood.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and prepare samples for analysis within Pre-Analytical workflow.
• Record patient data and testing information with precision into the LIS.
• Assist with safe storage, transport and dispatch of specimens per procedures.
• Respond to internal/external enquiries professionally to support timely diagnosis.
