Job summary

Clinipath Pathology is seeking Inventory Coordinator / Delivery Driver (Healthcare) for Perth Metropolitan area, operating from our Osborne Park Laboratory, 7:30am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Roles involve transporting pathology samples between collection centres, nursing homes, hospitals and medical practices.

Applicants should have substantial driving experience, a clean driving record, and be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance and vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Substantial driving experience.
• A safe driving record.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Willingness & ability to undertake vaccination, including for Influenza and Hepatitis B.
• The right to work in Australia.
• Capacity to work to deadlines while obeying road rules.
• Not more than 3 demerit points in the last 3 years.
• Comfort driving on busy roads and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport pathology samples in Clinipath vehicles from collection centres, nursing homes, hospitals and medical practices.
• Represent Clinipath Pathology professionally to clients, staff and other road users.

The role:

We are currently seeking applications for full-time and part-time Courier roles across the Perth Metropolitan area, operating from our Osborne Park Laboratory, working between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Our couriers are responsible for transporting pathology samples in our Clinipath vehicles from collection centres, nursing homes, hospitals and/or medical practices. Successful applicants must at all times be professional representatives of Clinipath Pathology, being both courteous and professional to clients, fellow staff and other road users.

The successful applicants will have a:

Substantial driving experience;

A safe driving record;

Current National Police Clearance;

Willingness & ability to undertake vaccination, including for Influenza and Hepatitis B;

The right to work in Australia.

It is important that applicants have the capacity to work to deadlines, whilst obeying all road rules. Clinipath Pathology takes compliance with road rules and safe driving seriously. Applicants must not have accrued more than 3 demerit points in the last 3 years.

You must also be comfortable driving on busy roads and have strong, proven interpersonal and communication skills and an excellent customer service record.

A uniform will be supplied and must be worn for the role as professional presentation is required.
