Job summary

Australian Clinical Labs in Mortdale, NSW is seeking a part-time Pathology Collector. You will collect blood and other samples from patients, attend to care, storage and processing of pathology specimens, and handle related paperwork with accuracy and speed.

Applicants should have a Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as across weekday and weekend shifts at

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Sound clinical knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams, doctors, patients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts at collection centres.
• A current Driver's License.
• Rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.

• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
