Job summary

QML Pathology in Mullumbimby is seeking Pathology Collectors to join our team. You will collect blood and other samples with care and professionalism, ensuring accuracy and a positive patient experience across multiple sites within the region.

This casual role offers comprehensive training through a 6-week program, with initial full-time hours followed by a minimum 25 hours per week, and a strong focus on patient care, safety and teamwork within Healius’ diagnostic network.

Qualifications

• Previous pathology collection experience is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• Healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
