Job summary

QML Pathology is hiring a Pathology Collector to join our team in Tweed Heads. This part-time role (12 hours per week) focuses on collecting blood and samples while delivering a high standard of patient care and ensuring accurate handling and documentation of specimens.

You will work with a supportive team, with training provided and opportunities for growth within Healius' pathology network.

Qualifications

• Experience in pathology collection desirable but not essential.
• Background in healthcare or customer-facing roles is valued.
• Strong communication and empathy when interacting with patients.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care and accuracy.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport following procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
