Job summary

Healius is recruiting a Pathology Collector to join our friendly team in Kempsey. You will collect blood and other samples, ensuring accuracy while delivering a caring patient experience.

This role reports to the Pathology site team and participates in a structured onboarding program. The position offers a supportive environment with ongoing training through the Healius Academy, a focus on high-quality care, and opportunities to grow within our healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• A healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience is required/beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
