Job summary

Healius is seeking a Pathology Collector to join a patient-focused team in Tea Gardens area. You will collect blood and other samples, delivering a calm, professional experience to patients and aiding timely diagnosis and care.

The role starts with 3 days per week (Mon, Wed and Fri) from 7:30am to 12:30pm, with potential to expand to 5 days and a monthly Saturday shift. A 6‑week paid training program is provided, followed by at least 25 hours per week. WWCC and immunisation evidence are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential
• A background in healthcare (e.g. aged care, disability, nursing) or strong customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site
