Job summary

4Cyte Pathology Pty is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to support our Bendigo area collection centres. The role involves taking blood and other specimens from patients, performing ECGs, Holter monitoring, and BP checks, with an emphasis on accurate specimen handling.

Candidates must have at least 1 year in pathology, venipuncture using vacutainer methods, and be able to work weekend rosters. Own car and a valid driver’s license are preferred to support travel between collection sites

Qualifications

• Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
• 1 year experience in Pathology preferred
• Experience with ECGs and Holter monitoring desirable
• Experience with paediatric and neonatal collections preferred
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekend roster
• Clerical duties and processing paperwork
• Own car and current driver’s license preferred
• Effective communication with team, doctors and patients
• Demonstrated organisation and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Basic computer skills
• Comply with Work Health and Safety

About the role

We are currently seeking for experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Bendigo Area.

Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Pathology.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter and BP monitoring.
