Job summary

Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) is seeking a casual Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team in Geelong, Victoria. The role suits self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.

You will collect blood and other samples, attend to care, storage and processing of pathology specimens, and handle associated paperwork to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Sound clinical knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
• A current Driver's License.
• Rights to work in Australia.

Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.

Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.

Skills and experience:

Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.

Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.

Exceptional time management skills.

Sound clinical knowledge.

Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.

Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts acrossany of our collection centres.

A current Driver's License.
