Kingston University invites applications for a Lecturer in Pathobiology in the Department of Biomolecular Sciences. You will design and deliver teaching across Biomedical Science, contribute to curriculum development and supervise research projects.

The role includes administration and personal tutorship, with a focus on inclusive, research-informed learning. Applicants should hold a PhD in bioscience and a first degree in Biomedical Science; experience in pathobiology, cancer biology, histology

Qualifications

• First degree in Biomedical Science or related bioscience subject with PhD in bioscience.
• Expertise in pathobiology, cancer biology, cell and tissue biology, cytopathology and histology is desirable.
• Teaching experience is desirable, and postdoctoral experience would be an advantage; strong professional experience welcome.

Responsabilités

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Biomedical Science and related bioscience disciplines; including Levels 3–6.
• Plan, develop and deliver high-quality, inclusive, and innovative teaching and assessments.
• Undertake module leadership, contribute to curriculum development and quality enhancement.
• Contribute to the evidence-base of research; supervise undergraduate and/or postgraduate projects; provide personal tutorship.
