Qualifications
- PhD required in genomics, precision health, bioinformatics, computational biology, or closely related field.
- Proven track record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications and success in securing competitive research funding.
- Experience supervising honours, masters and PhD students.
- Expertise in genomic technologies and data analysis with a recognized research profile.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow an externally funded research program in human genomics, precision health, genomic medicine or related field, supervising higher degree researchers.
- Develop, coordinate and deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including curriculum development and assessment design.
- Build strategic collaborations with researchers, clinicians, industry partners, government agencies and community stakeholders to advance research and real-world impact.
