Job summary

Department for Education in South Australia is seeking a Project Officer, PAT, to lead the implementation of a state-wide literacy and numeracy assessment program and related professional learning that guides improvements in learner achievement.

The Project Officer works with the Program Manager and a small team, providing high level advice on the Progresssive Achievement Test and coordinating with other divisions responsible for learner data management and analysis.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in education.
• Current full teacher registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expertise in implementing a state-wide literacy and numeracy assessment program (PAT) and related professional learning.
• Work with the Program Manager and a small team to support PAT implementation.
• Advise across the Curriculum and Learning division on the Progressive Achievement Test and learner achievement data coordination and analysis.
