Job summary

St Philip’s Christian College is a growing network delivering holistic Christian education across Newcastle, Hunter, and Central Coast regions. This role supports the Learning Support Teacher to enhance student learning and manage small groups, assessments, and learning activities.

Under supervision, you will deliver Tier 2–3 literacy/numeracy programs, maintain student records, and assist with testing and individual programs for students with additional needs, while upholding Child Safe

Qualifications

• Committed Christian actively involved in local evangelical church.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and engagement.
• Deliver literacy and numeracy programs for small groups under supervision.
• Maintain assessment data and small group records.
• Develop and manage learning support activities timetable each term.
• Provide feedback on student progress to teachers and Learning Support Teacher.
• Assist with supervision of groups and extracurricular activities.
• Support students with additional needs in classroom settings.
