Dixie Cafe in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Patisserie Chef to maintain high standards of taste, texture and visual presentation for cabinet items and custom orders. You will lead daily prep lists, manage stock rotation and maintain par levels to minimize waste.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Patisserie Chef or in a high-volume bakery production role.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of baking techniques, pastry work, cake decorating, and scaling recipes.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work efficiently during early morning shifts.
  • An eye for detail and a genuine passion for presentation and flavor combinations.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate smoothly with both front-of-house and kitchen staff.
