This position holds a substantive Permanent Teaching Position with the Diocese of Cairns.

The role of Pastoral Leader is to support the mission of the college through leadership founded on a commitment to the provision of quality education for the students. This involves:

• Developing and implementing effective pastoral practices which provide for students' wellbeing
• Ensuring that appropriate programs and processes are developed and followed at all levels to encourage students to embrace a way of living based on Gospel values and managing student behaviours which are contrary to this
• Coordinating the efforts of staff in students' holistic growth
• Developing partnerships with parents and carers
• Developing other appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school
• Middle Leaders are accountable to and under the direction of the College Principal, Line Managed by Deputy Principal - Pastoral Care
