St Monica's College, Cairns is seeking a Pastoral Middle Leader for Years 7-9 on a fixed-term contract attached to a substantive teaching position. The role supports the college mission through quality education and strong pastoral care, reporting to the Principal via the Deputy Principal – Pastoral Care.

Responsibilities include developing pastoral practices, promoting Gospel values, coordinating staff for students’ holistic growth, building partnerships with families and the wider community,

Qualificações

• Be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers.
• Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement effective pastoral practices to support students’ wellbeing.
• Coordinate programs and processes to promote Gospel values and positive behaviour.
• Lead staff collaboration for students’ holistic growth.
• Build partnerships with parents and carers.
• Develop external partnerships within and outside of the school.
• Middle Leaders report to and are under the direction of the College Principal; line managed by Deputy Principal – Pastoral Care.
• Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school objectives and planning.
• Contribute to maintaining a supportive school environment.
