Job summary

St Monica's College, Cairns, is seeking a Pastoral Middle Leader for a fixed-term contract attached to a substantive teaching role. You will lead pastoral care, student wellbeing, and partnerships with families while delivering high-quality learning programs for Years 7–9.

The College emphasizes Mercy values, faith-based education, and holistic student development within a diverse boarding and day-school community in Cairns. Registration with the QCT is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
• Experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing.
• Ability to develop partnerships with parents and carers.

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective teaching programs.
