Job summary

Harmony CSA Mine is seeking an experienced Paste Plant Operator to safely and efficiently run the paste fill plant, ensuring paste meets specification for underground mining activities.

Role operates on a 7/7 days and nights roster with residential basis. You will monitor plant performance, perform inspections and maintenance, and collaborate with Underground Operations to meet production targets while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, mineral processing or fixed plant operations desirable.
• Knowledge of thickening, slurry handling, pumping and dewatering systems.
• Mechanical aptitude to identify and respond to equipment issues.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Valid C Class Driving Licence.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance and production rates to ensure quality and output.
• Conduct inspections, housekeeping and preventative maintenance to keep plant safe and reliable.
• Identify and report faults, process issues and hazards; support safety culture.
• Assist start-up, shutdown and isolation activities with Underground Operations to meet targets.
• Complete operational checks, records and shift reports in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
