Job summary

Barminco is recruiting an Underground Paste Crew on a full-time basis for the Bellevue Gold Mine, located ~40km northeast of Leinster, WA. The role offers a 77 FIFO roster from Perth and contributes to safe, productive underground operations at a premier sustainable mining site.

You will monitor paste fill operations, liaise with the paste plant operator, complete checklists, and ensure backfill is performed per plan while adhering to site safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paste Crew Operator or similar underground pastework roles.
• Relevant operating tickets and licences.
• Ability to meet site access requirements (medical, DAS, NPC, valid manual driver’s license).

Responsibilities

• Monitor paste fill devices, paste walls and paste valves.
• Liaise with the paste plant operator.
• Complete paste fill checklists and paperwork.
• Ensure paste backfill is completed as per plan.
• Install, monitor, and maintain paste barricades and bulkheads.
• Inspect, maintain, and clear paste lines and equipment to prevent blockages.
• Work with mining and production teams to meet schedules.
• Follow safety, quality and environmental procedures during paste operations.

Barminco hassuccessfullytendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Projectlocatedapproximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia’s Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.

This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than80% of the site’s power requirements through renewable energy sources.

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivatedUnderground Paste Crewto join the team on a full-time basis, working a 77 FIFO roster from Perth. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

• Monitor paste fill devices/paste walls / paste valves

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
