Job summary

Labour Connect is seeking reliable Ground Handling and Passenger Services staff for the new Western Sydney International Airport in Luddenham. You will support aircraft operations, baggage handling and passenger services on a 20-hour weekly schedule with late-night shifts.

This role requires flexibility to work 8:30pm–12:30am on a 7-day rotating roster; a valid driver’s license and reliable transport are essential, with airport safety procedures to follow.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends.
• Must be available for shifts from 8:30pm – 12:30am.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport – ESSENTIAL
• Current ASIC or airport security-clearance experience is an advantage
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Willingness to follow strict airport safety and security procedures

THE ROLE

Labour Connect is currently seeking reliable and motivated Ground Handling and Passenger Services Staff to join operations at the new Western Sydney International Airport in Luddenham.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing airport team, supporting aircraft operations, baggage handling and passenger services.

The position offers part-time employment of 20 hours per week, working late-night shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.

DUTIES

• Assisting passengers with check-in and boarding procedures
• Providing customer service and assisting with passenger enquiries
• Checking travel documents and boarding passes
• Assisting passengers with baggage enquiries
• Supporting smooth and efficient passenger movements throughout the airport
• Following airport safety, security and customer service procedures

THE ESSENTIALS

• Must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
• Must be available for shifts from 8:30pm – 12:30am
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transport – ESSENTIAL
• Previous airport, passenger services, customer service, ramp or ground-handling experience is highly regarded but not essential
• Current ASIC or previous airport security-clearance experience is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties required
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
• Willingness to follow strict airport safety and security procedures
