Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd in Townsville, QLD, is seeking a Partsperson to join our warehouse team. This permanent, Monday–Friday role offers hands-on responsibilities, a fast-paced environment and opportunity to work with Caterpillar products with a global dealer network.

You’ll receive comprehensive training and the chance to grow into leadership or technical specialist roles, with a focus on safety and reliable service to internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, stores or inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Reliable, proactive with a strong work ethic and commitment to get the job done.
• Team-focused and self-motivated.
• Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards.
• Excellent communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Keep parts moving – Receive, pick, pack and dispatch parts and materials with accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay in control – Maintain stock accuracy and inventory records to keep operations running seamlessly.
• Operate with confidence – Utilise warehouse equipment, including forklifts (if licensed), to safely handle materials.
• Maintain the workspace – Ensure a clean, organised and professional warehouse environment.
• Support the operation – Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and timely order fulfilment.
• Safety first – Champion safe work practices and contribute to a strong safety culture.
