Job summary

Scania Australia is seeking a customer-focused Parts Advisor to build strong relationships with customers, workshop teams and suppliers. You will identify customer needs and provide expert parts advice and solutions, while managing enquiries and orders from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive parts, customer service, retail automotive, logistics, or a related industry
  • Strong customer-first mindset with ability to build long-term relationships
  • Confidence influencing outcomes and handling difficult conversations professionally
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication with customers, technicians, suppliers and colleagues
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive approach and desire to learn and develop career

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers, workshop teams and suppliers
  • Identify customer needs and provide expert parts advice and solutions
  • Manage enquiries, quotations and orders from start to finish
  • Negotiate and resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
  • Work closely with Workshop team to ensure parts availability and minimise downtime
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure parts are stored and managed correctly
  • Process invoices, payments and associated documentation accurately
