Scania Prestons is looking for a proactive Parts Advisor to join our team in Sydney. You will build strong relationships with customers, identify parts needs, and provide expert advice to keep workshops running smoothly.

In this busy role you will manage enquiries, quotations and orders from start to finish, negotiate outcomes, and work closely with workshop teams to ensure parts availability and timely service, while upholding Scania's customer-first standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts, customer service or related field.
• Strong customer-first mindset and ability to build long-term relationships.
• Confidence influencing outcomes and handling difficult conversations professionally.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication with customers, technicians, suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers, workshop teams and suppliers.
• Identify customer needs and provide expert parts advice and solutions.
• Manage enquiries, quotations and orders from start to finish.
• Negotiate and resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
• Work closely with Workshop team to ensure parts availability and minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure parts are stored and managed correctly.
• Process invoices, payments and associated documentation accurately.
