King Smash Repairs is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts inventory and supplier relationships at our Eden, NSW operation. This full-time role focuses on ensuring a steady supply of components to support our automotive smash repair and panel beating services.

The ideal candidate will optimise our supply chain, control costs, and assist technicians with accurate parts identification and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in parts management within automotive repair or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, terminology for smash repair and panel beating.
• Experience with inventory management systems and ordering software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain an organised parts inventory system with accurate stock levels.
• Liaise with suppliers to source quality parts at competitive prices.
• Process parts orders and manage delivery schedules to minimise downtime for technicians.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Assist technicians and workshop staff with parts identification, availability, and specs.
• Manage parts documentation, warranties, and returns.
• Monitor parts usage and costs to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and external contacts.
• Handle invoicing, billing and financial records related to parts procurement as needed.
• Support workshop team to ensure parts are available when required.
