Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking a Spare Parts Interpreter to accurately identify, price and supply parts to technicians and external customers, supporting Sydney Branch operations.

You will interpret parts for forklifts and allied equipment, provide pricing and technical support to the sales and service teams, respond to enquiries and coordinate dispatch, and assist with quotations and purchase orders.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Toyota parts is desirable.
• Experience as a parts interpreter within material handling or similar.
• Experience with M3 or SAP-like systems.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and supply parts for forklifts, skid steer loaders, track loaders, tow tugs, EWPs, excavators and floor-cleaning equipment.
• Provide accurate pricing, parts information and technical support to sales and service teams.
• Respond to customer enquiries, identify required parts and coordinate dispatch.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on outstanding purchase orders.
• Support workshop technicians with parts requests as required.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

About the Role

The Spare Parts Interpreter is responsible for accurately identifying, pricing, and supplying parts to our technicians and external customers, ensuring efficient support for the Sydney Branch operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret and supply parts for a wide range of equipment including forklifts, skid steer loaders, track loaders, tow tugs, elevated work platforms (EWPs), excavators, and sweeper/scrubbers
• Provide accurate pricing, parts information, and technical support to the sales and service teams
• Respond to customer enquiries, identify required parts, and coordinate timely dispatch
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and outstanding purchase orders
• Support workshop technicians with parts requests as required
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Excellent administration skills
• Intermediate level computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certificate III in Automotive Sales (desirable)
• Good knowledge of Toyota parts (desirable)
• Previous experience as a parts interpreter within the material handling industry or similar
• Previous experience with M3 (or SAP similar) systems
