Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking a Spare Parts Interpreter to accurately identify, price, and supply parts for technicians and external customers in the Sydney branch. You will support sales and service teams with technical information and quotations.

Based in Moorebank NSW, this permanent role emphasizes strong communication, MS Office proficiency, and knowledge of Toyota parts. Prior experience with M3 or SAP-like systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Intermediate level computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Desirable: Certificate III in Automotive Sales.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Toyota parts.
• Experience as a parts interpreter in the material handling industry or similar.
• Experience with M3 or SAP-like systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and supply parts for a wide range of equipment including forklifts, skid steer loaders, track loaders, tow tugs, EWPs, excavators, and sweeper/scrubbers.
• Provide accurate pricing, parts information, and technical support to the sales and service teams.
• Respond to customer enquiries, identify required parts, and coordinate timely dispatch.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and outstanding purchase orders.
• Support workshop technicians with parts requests as required.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

About the Role

The Spare Parts Interpreter is responsible for accurately identifying, pricing, and supplying parts to our technicians and external customers, ensuring efficient support for the Sydney Branch operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret and supply parts for a wide range of equipment including forklifts, skid steer loaders, track loaders, tow tugs, elevated work platforms (EWPs), excavators, and sweeper/scrubbers
• Provide accurate pricing, parts information, and technical support to the sales and service teams
• Respond to customer enquiries, identify required parts, and coordinate timely dispatch
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and outstanding purchase orders
• Support workshop technicians with parts requests as required
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Intermediate level computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications & Requirements:
