Job summary

CMV Truck & Bus seeks an enthusiastic Parts Interpreter for a full-time role in Traralgon, VIC. You will sell truck parts to customers in person or by phone, acting as the public face of our spare parts business with a strong work ethic and dedication to great service.

You will handle parts sales, enquiries, orders, and quotations, while promoting products and contributing to the warehouse when needed. Saturday morning shifts are on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Experienced Parts Interpreter with a commercial vehicle background or strong car dealership experience.
• Reliable, punctual, friendly, and a team player.
• Forklift licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to existing and new customers.
• Handle all parts sales and enquiries.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare detailed quotations for parts supply.
• Promote and upsell products.
• Assist in the warehouse when required.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Parts Interpreter to fill a full time position. This role involves selling truck parts to our customers and internal customers either in person via our front or back counter or over the phone. Our parts interpreters are the public face of our spare parts business; as such you will have a good work ethic and a desire to deliver great customer service to our customers. This role will suit a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our existing and new customers
• Handle all parts sales and enquiries
• Process all orders efficiently and accurately
• Prepare detailed quotations for parts supply
• Promote and up sell products
• Assist in the warehouse when required
• Work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster

Who you are

• An experienced Parts Interpreter, ideally with a commercial vehicle background however candidates with a strong dealership background in the car industry should also apply.
• A reliable and punctual person, you have a friendly approach and work well in a team.
• Ideally you hold a current forklift licence.
• You are keen to grow your skills base and experience, willing to take on tasks in all aspects of the operation of a dealership Parts Department.
