Job summary

CMV Truck & Bus Pty is seeking an enthusiastic Parts Interpreter to join our thriving spare parts team in Traralgon, Victoria. This full-time role involves selling truck parts to customers in person or over the phone and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You'll handle parts sales, process orders, provide quotations, upsell products and may assist in the warehouse. Weekend Saturday shifts rotate, with onsite training and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experienced Parts Interpreter with vehicle background preferred
• Dealership experience in car industry also acceptable
• Reliable, punctual, friendly, team player
• Ideally hold a current forklift licence

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiasticParts Interpreterto fill a full time position. This role involves selling truck parts to our customers and internal customers either in person via our front or back counter or over the phone. Our parts interpreters are the public face of our spare parts business; as such you will have a good work ethic and a desire to deliver great customer service to our customers. This role will suit a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our existing and new customers
• Handle all parts sales and enquiries
• Process all orders efficiently and accurately
• Prepare detailed quotations for parts supply
• Promote and up sell products
• Assist in the warehouse when required
• Work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster

Who you are

• An experienced Parts Interpreter, ideally with a commercial vehicle background however candidates with a strong dealership background in the car industry should also apply.
• A reliable and punctual person, you have a friendly approach and work well in a team.
• Ideally you hold a current forklift licence.
• You are keen to grow your skills base and experience, willing to take on tasks in all aspects of the operation of a dealership Parts Department.
