Job summary

West-trans Equipment is seeking a motivated parts interpreter for a full-time permanent role in Mulgrave, near Windsor/Hawkesbury, Sydney. You will deliver excellent customer service, quote and order parts, and maintain accurate stock records for efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires data-entry accuracy, attention to discrepancies, and warehousing experience. Prior use of inventory software and Greentree/ERP systems is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy in data entry.
• Strong attention to detail in investigating discrepancies.
• 3-5 years previous warehousing experience highly regarded.
• Inventory software experience highly regarded.
• Experience in Greentree or other ERP software highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of customer service.
• Efficient parts interpreting for service agents and trade customers.
• Quoting & ordering of parts, and data entry.
• Maintain part number and locations integrity.
• Maintain visual display of part numbers and organise parts storage on shelves.
• Ensure parts movement is neat and efficient.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist in adjustments.
• Assist in picking and packing and organising freight.
• Relieve procurement and receipting staff when required.
• Confirm, investigate, and report all variances.
• Ensure POs, SOs, PO receipts are up to date.
• Warranty register data entry.

West-trans Equipment is an Australian family-owned business with a national presence in the waste management and logistics industry. We are a manufacturer and/or repairer for skip loader, hook lifters, truck mounted cranes and Hammar side lift trailers since 1994.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven parts interpreter to join our team, located in Mulgrave near Windsor/Hawkesbury area in Sydney. You will work within a dynamic team and be part of a sustainable company that is one of the market leaders in the service of truck mounted cranes, loaders, and waste lifting equipment. The main purpose of the position is to provide efficient and friendly spare parts service, purchasing, ensure efficient warehouse inventory management, accuracy and factory utilisations can be accounted for at all times.

• Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri - with overtime available

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high level of customer service
• Efficient parts interpreting for both service agents and trade customers
• Quoting & ordering of parts, and its data entry
• Maintain part number and locations integrity
• Maintain visual display of part numbers and organising parts storage on shelves
• Ensure parts movement is always in a neat and efficient manner
• Investigate any stock discrepancies, assist in adjustment of stock as required
• Assist in picking and packing, organising freight.
• Relieve procurement and receipting staff when required
• All variances are confirmed, investigated, and reported accordingly
• Ensure POs, SOs, PO receipts are up to date at all times
• Warranty register data entry
